Eakle Vineyard Management was founded by siblings David Eakle and Diana Hawkins, both graduates of California State University, Chico with Bachelor of Science degrees in Agricultural Business. Growing up in agriculture, construction, vineyards, and wine—and later managing their own vineyard—gave them a unique perspective on what vineyard owners truly need from a management partner.
They saw that those needs weren't the same for every property. A large commercial vineyard requires the resources, workforce, systems, and experience to operate efficiently at scale, while an estate vineyard may demand an entirely different level of attention, flexibility, and detail. Eakle Vineyard Management was built to do both.
Today, we tailor our farming to each owner's objectives—balancing fruit quality, vineyard health, operational efficiency, and budget rather than applying the same program to every property. And because our expertise extends beyond day-to-day farming, we can help solve the bigger challenges too, from development and infrastructure to project management, harvest, business support, and getting fruit to market.
